How we verify information

See what’s behind every clinic listing.

We bring together clinic website information and Google Maps records, match the details to a branch and show you where the information came from. Here’s what those checks tell you.

Report incorrect details ↗

Follow the source of a claim.

Our current listings use captured clinic websites for services, named dentists, HMO information and published hours. Google Maps records supply addresses, contact details and review snapshots where available. Profile links take you to the provider, and rating links take you to Google.

We match records using the listing identifier and branch information, rather than treating every similar clinic name as the same business. A shared website may describe several branches. We retain that distinction when branch availability is unclear.

Understand what we’ve checked.

Record checked

We reviewed the captured record, matched its source and checked how the field is presented. This describes a data check.

Provider-published

The clinic’s website states the service, HMO partner or schedule. That is attributed provider information, not a visit to the premises.

Direct confirmation

We use this label only when there is a documented confirmation from the clinic, with its scope and date. The current listings do not carry a blanket clinic-confirmed badge.

Use the dates to judge freshness.

Current service records were captured on 15 October 2026. Google rating snapshots were captured on 14 October 2026. The listing records were checked for this website on 17 October 2026.

“Record checked” refers to reviewing the saved record. It does not mean we called the clinic on that date or refreshed every live source. We keep the source capture date separate so you can see that difference.

Read ratings in context.

Stars show the Google rating and review count in the captured record. They describe reported patient experiences and can change as new reviews arrive. We do not turn those scores into a clinical quality certification or an automatic “best clinic” award.

Separate a listing from a clinical review.

Checking a listing’s address or service page does not establish licensing, treatment results or the suitability of care for you. We do not apply a blanket “verified dentist” badge to these records.

Clinical review credits belong to the exact guide a named dental professional reviewed. They are separate from directory data checks, team leadership and AI-assisted editing.

Confirm the details that depend on your visit.

Provider-listed services give you a starting point. Your branch confirms who will treat you and whether a slot is available. For HMO use, the clinic’s partner list is separate from your plan benefits, treatment limits and authorisation.

We publish specific prices when their source, date, treatment basis and inclusions are established. A missing price is shown as “Ask for a quote” rather than an invented estimate. We don’t calculate a Lagos-wide average from unlike packages or expired promotions.

Help us correct a detail.

Use “Report incorrect details” on a clinic card or profile, or contact +234 704 812 9496. Include the clinic, branch, page and the correct information, with a supporting link where possible. That gives the team a specific record and source to check.

Know what a logo or placement means.

The clinic logo strip is labelled “Explore clinics in our directory.” Those logos identify listed businesses. They do not imply a partnership, endorsement or approval by the clinic.

Current directory order is not a clinical ranking. Any future sponsored placement should be labelled so you can distinguish it from ordinary listings.
